Toulouse, who play in the French second tier, announced this Saturday that four people have tested positive for coronavirus, including their coach, Patrice Garande and the assistant, Jean-Marie Huriez.
The club added that two players are also affected, according to the tests carried out this Thursday. The results were received this Saturday.
Seven players will once again be tested this Saturday, the statement highlighted. The match due to be played this Saturday night versus Rodez has been cancelled.
This is Toulouse's official statement:
"After having received the results of the COVID-19 tests carried out this Thursday, there is proof of several positive cases of COVID-19 in the Toulouse team. As a result of this, the friendly match against Rodez tonight has been cancelled," the statement reads.
"Up to now, four cases have been confirmed: the coach, Patrice Garande, his assistant, Jean-Marie Huriez and two players. Furthermore, seven players will be tested again this Saturday."
