Tottenham ask about O'Connell

According to 'Daily Star', Tottenham have asked Sheffield United about Jack O'Connell as a possible substitute for Jan Vertonghen.

Vertonghen is more out than in at Tottenham. Despite the fact he is a nailed on starter for Mourinho, the Belgian could leave next summer.

If he leaves, Spurs want to cover their backs and have asked about the footballer who is a regular starter for Sheffield United.

That is what the 'Daily Star', who also pointed out that Sheffield United will ask for a good amount of money to let the defender leave.
