Tottenham and Hoffenheim show support for Sessegnon after racist insults

Racism is one of the greatest scourges of our society and, unfortunately, it is increasingly seen on the football field. There is no place in sport for discrimination of any kind.

This time, Ryan Sessegnon was the target of racist insults through social media. The Hoffenheim player, on loan from Tottenham, denounced them on his Instagram profile.

"Honestly, it's unbelievable. The crazy thing is that it doesn't surprise me anymore. Disgusting," wrote the 20-year-old in a message that caused both the English and German club to come out in force.

Spurs wrote on Twitter: "Everyone in the club is with you, Sessegnon. We are proud of the rich ethnic diversity that exists in our communities. Fans, staff and players.
