Torres and Iniesta moved to Japan after reaching the later years of their careers, having met each other in Spain's youth side at 15.
Torres plays for Sagan Tosu, who bettered Iniesta's Vissel Kobe 3-0 in the Emperor's Cup.

The Sagan Tosu striker posted a photo of the pair, reunited in Japan, saying:
"Football leaves you these good moments, we started playing together at 15 years old in the national team."
"We have shared some of the best moments in our careers and today we return to see each other in Japan. Always a pleasure to see you my friend, Andres Iniesta."
The pair both left Spain at the end of last season.

Iniesta spent his whole career at Camp Nou, with an impressive tally of nine La Liga titles and six Copa del Rey's.
Torres returned to his boyhood club Atletico, following time at Liverpool, Chelsea and Milan, and won the Europa League to round off his time in Madrid.
