Torreira's Arsenal return to be brief as Monza and Roma wait

Midfielder Lucas Torreira will not have to pack his bags even. As soon as he returns from Fiorentina, with whom his loan deal expires on 30th June, he will return to Italy. According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Arsenal do not count on him for the 2022-23 season so they will loan him again. The player has now been offered to Monza and Roma.

Torreira has been on loan for two years in a row. Arsenal first decided to send him to Atletico Madrid and then send him to Fiorentina afterwards.

Neither of the teams wanted to buy him permamently so the midfielder will return to the Emirates Stadium.

But nothing has changed at Arsenal. Mikel Arteta has no place for him in his plans so he will have to pack his bags. Italy could be his next destination again.

According to Nicolo Schira, Torreira likes Serie A so he would not mind returning. The midfielder has already reportedly been offered to Monza and Roma. It remains to be seen whether either of these two Italian sides accept him.
