Real Madrid have used the international break to put the renewal of Toni Kroos on track. According to market expert Fabrizio Romano, the German has given a verbal commitment to stay at the 'merengue' club for another year.
After several days of talks, Kroos and the institution have reached an agreement to extend his contract with Real Madrid until 2025. All that remains is for the midfielder to sign the new contract, something that will happen imminently.
Kroos is having a great season with 'Los Blancos'. He has played 38 games so far in 2023-24 and has started 26 of them. He has contributed 1 goal and 7 assists, a figure that could still improve between now and the end of the season.
The German arrived at the Bernabeu in the summer of 2014 from Bayern. A decade later, at 34 years of age, Kroos still has plenty of time left in him and, for now, in what will be his 11th season in the capital, he has decided to continue wearing the Real Madrid crest on his chest.
