Having been at odds with Lyon fans for several months now, the Cameroonian signed for Saudi club Abha on Tuesday. His transfer will bring in two million euros for Lyon.

Last season, the first half of Karl Toko-Ekambi's campaign was marked by the defiance of some of the fans at Groupama Stadium, who insulted him in the middle of a match.

At the time, the player could be seen expressing his rage at what had happened to him in the dressing room.

A split that is unlikely to be repaired, as the Cameroonian reached an agreement with Saudi club Abha on a two-season contract on Tuesday.

It's a transfer that will delight Lyon fans, and one that should bring in around two million euros to the French club's coffers.
