Tierney reveals what Declan Rice said to him after arriving at Arsenal

Declan Rice joined Arsenal for £105 million from West Ham and has become the Gunners' third signing of the summer transfer window. Both the board and the fans have high expectations of him.

The midfielder has already played his first two matches for Mikel Arteta's side - in the 5-0 victory over MLS All-Stars and the 2-0 defeat against Manchester United.

Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney spoke about Rice's arrival at the Emirates Stadium in an interview with 'The Athletic' and revealed what he said to him just as he arrived.

"Declan actually said the other day he feels like he's been here so long. It's such a close group, great teammates, great staff so I think they're all loving it [the new signings]," he claimed. 

Meanwhile, the Scottish defender is likely to leave his current club in the summer transfer window. "It's not really up to me [my future]. I'm just trying to do as well as I can," he told 'The Athletic'.
