Three Lille players test positive for coronavirus

Despite there being less coronavirus cases in the most of Europe than a couple of months ago, there are still fresh outbreaks of the virus. And that includes at football clubs. 

Although the teams are taking measures to try and reduce the risk, they cannot stop it completely and some of Lille's footballers have got COVID-19. 

The French club announced this Saturday that three of their footballers have tested positive for coronavirus. 

According to 'Sport', thry are Renato Sanches, Jonathan Ikone and Jonathan Bamba reportedly picked it up between 6th and 13th July. 

The trio did not take part in the friendly that the French club played this Saturday against Mouscron which ended 1-2 to the French side.
