Yakubu Aiyegbeni
The ex-Nigerian international bagged a lot of hat-tricks in his career, but one stands out as the most special. His three goals against Olympiakos back in 2002, making him the first Nigerian to score a Champions League hat-trick.
Didier Drogba
The legend of African football was the second to bag a triple in the CL. He achieved it when he was playing for Olympique Marseille, before moving to Chelsea. It was during a 3-0 victory over Partizan Belgrade in October 2003. Three years later he repeated the feat for Chelsea against Levski Sofia.
Samuel Eto'o
The Cameroon international scored two hat-tricks in his career, one with Barcelona and one with Inter. The Barca triple was in November 2005 against Panathinaikos (5-0). With Inter, he put three past Weder Bremen in 2010 (4-0).
Yacine Brahimi
In September 2014, the Algerian joined the prestigious list with three against BATE Borisov, in a game that Porto won 6-0.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
The Gaboni forward is a natural goalscorer, but it wasn't until 2017 that he managed to get a hat-trick in Europe. He achieved it for Borussia Dortmund against Benfica in March 2017 (4-0).
Sadio Mane
The last on the list is Senegalese winger Sadio Mane. The Liverpool man bagged three against Porto in 2018, sealing a 0-5 away win for the 'Reds'.
