One of the main talking points of Madrid's overwhelming 3-0 victory in Turin on Tuesday night was the reckless high foot by Dybala on defender Dani Carvajal.
Many expected the 24-year-old to cause numerous problems in the quarter-final tie but not for his own team, which saw them reduced to ten men in the 66th minute after the poor challenge.
Following the defeat, Dybala took to social media to offer his thoughts on the event: "The defeats are bad, they always hurt, even when they come against such strong teams and champions.
"Now, the only thing to do is move forward: sacrifice, strength, passion and continue to improve every day. Thanks to all those who have encouraged me: you are in my heart".
Dybala will now miss the return leg at the Bernabeu on April 11.
