The Infantino show: made his refereeing debut

This Qatar World Cup is coming to a close. The semi-finals start this Tuesday with Argentina against Croatia, a game in which Messi and Modric, two Ballon d'Or winners, are going for their dream of winning the World Cup.

Wednesday will be the turn of France and Morocco. Just before the moments of truth, FIFA decided to organise a legends match on Monday. Ex-players as big as Cafu, Nuno Gomes, Roberto Carlos and Míchel Salgado played, as well as others.

The game was between a few Qatar workers, and some ex-players played a part too. Having said that, it was more about having a laugh on the pitch.

Interestingly, FIFA president Gianni Infantino had a go at being referee, and he even booked Alessandro Del Piero, who also played in the game.
