Mamdouh can be seen running off in celebration after supposedly sealing a 4-3 win in a penalty shoot-out, but the referee spotted that the goalkeeper had stepped off his line too early.
In any other match, this would have resulted in a retake, but the referee deemed Mamdouh's celebrations worth of a yellow card, and having been booked earlier in the game, a subsequent red.
With Qatar doomed, captain Nasser Abdulsalam took matters into his own hands and somehow managed to save the spot kick.

As a result, Qatar earn qualification to next summer's Asia Championships in Indonesia.
