Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City side will once again face Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League. Last year, 'Los Blancos' came from behind in added time with two goals from Rodrygo to secure a spot in the final, which they ultimately won against Liverpool.
A fresh failure for the Spanish coach, who hasn't managed to lift the trophy with his current club, nor did he do so with his previous club Bayern Munich. Maybe this was due to an odd curse that Dimitri Seluk, ex-representative of Yaya Toure, put on him.
"Guardiola turned all of Africa against him. I'm sure that many African shamans will do everything they can to ensure Guardiola doesn't win the Champions League. This will be an African curse for Guardiola. What goes around comes around, Pep. You'll see what the African shamans can do", he said after the midfielder left.
However, the ex-agent spoke to 'Mirror' and said that the curse has now ended and he expects big things in the future of the citizens: "I think that now is the time to end this bitterness and I know Yaya feels the same because he doesn't want anything except success for City".
"I can say that the shamans have now lifted the spell, and I think that City will win the UCL with Pep. They have an opportunity to win it this year. But, whatever happens, they will definitely win it in the next three years", he added.
