The 10 most expensive goalkeepers in the world

According to “Transfermarkt” (a prestigious German footballing website) who make very precise calculations of the value of each football player, these are the most expensive players:
1. Manuel Neuer (31.5m)
Bayern Munich’s goalie is considered the best in the world because of his powerful kicking skills ability to control the ball with his feet, sometimes preferring to play as an extra defender.
2. Thibaut Courtois (24.5m)
He dazzled us with his saves at Atletico Madrid, in the process becoming one of the most promising goalkeepers internationally. Now at Chelsea, Courtois has continued to prove his amazing abilities.
3. David De Gea (21m)
If Real Madrid want to sign him at all costs it must be for a reason. De Gea’s youth combined with incredible reflexes make him one of the most sort after footballers.
4. Hugo Lloris (15.4m)
Surprisingly, France’s international keeper is considered the forth most vauable on their list. It’s rumored that he could replace De Gea at United if he leaves for Madrid.
5. Salvatore Sirigu (14m)
Sirigu will be named Italy’s first goalkeeper when Buffon decides to retire. The problem is that Buffon has remained at such a high level that Sirigu has only been given 14 international caps in the last 5 years.
6. Marc-André Ter Stegen (12.6m)
The German goal keep did not start in La Liga for Barcelona last season, but his great performances in the Champions League and Copa Del Rey has put him sixth in the list. Like Courtois, he has a huge amount of potential.
7.Mattia Perin (12.25m)
If Sirigu is the candidate to replace Buffon in the sort term, the long term future will be with to Mattia Perin. This far reaching goalkeeper has already been playing at an incredibly high level for the last couple of seasons, and at only 22 he is the youngest on the list.
8. Fernando Muslera (11.9m)
Being in Turkey has not lowered the price tag of this Uruguayan, who a couple of seasons ago was one of the most promising footballers to come from South America. According to this ranking, he is the most expensive goalkeeper from that continent. His great reflexes make him a tempting player to sign for any of the top teams.
9. Bernd Leno (11.2m)
The Bayer Leverkusen keeper occupies the second position of the national team after Neuer, with Ter Stegen not far behind. Leno is much less spectacular than his German counterparts, with much weaker foot control. He does however provide more safety and areal control.
10. Joe Hart (11.2m)
England’s number one goalkeeper holds the last space in the top 10, beating other goalies such as Claudio Bravo or Jan Oblak. Criticized and adored, Hart is a keeper capable of making spectacular saves, but also spectacular errors.
