In recent weeks, the Manchester United board announced the arrival of Erik ten Hag as the new manager to replace Ralf Rangnick for next season. The Dutchman has already started to work on the squad and is reportedly interested in a young signing who was not in the plans.
According to 'The Sun', the Red Devils are keen to sign Malcolm Ebiowei, an 18-year-old English striker who will be released from Derby County after failing to agree a contract renewal.
The young striker performed well last season in the Championship and has attracted interest from a number of top clubs, including Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Tottenham and Arsenal. All of them are interested in signing him, according to the English media.
However, at this stage, it seems that Ten Hag's side are leading the bidding for him for next season, although Crystal Palace are not giving up on him either and are trying to sign him.
