European football's governing body revealed their Team of the Week via their official Twitter, with its unbalance nature easily explained by the fact that it was based on the players who earned the most Fantasy Football points.
Porto's Iker Casillas was handed the gloves following a strong performance against Lokomotiv Moscow that included a penalty save.
There was no shortage of defenders either, with five being deployed at the back. Borussia Dortmund pair Raphael Guerreiro and Achraf Hakimi were the stand-out performers with 13 and 15 points respectively and they were joined by Andy Robertson, Aymeric Laporte and Jordi Alba.
Moving further forward there was a very curious midfield pairing of Jesus Corona and Mohamed Salah, with both players having been vital to their sides in victories over Lokomotiv and Red Star Belgrade respectively.
Andrej Kramaric (Hoffenheim), Edin Dzeko (Roma) and Bertrand Traore (Lyon) were the three lucky men chosen in attack, with the Bosnians haul of two goals and an assist in the pummelling of CSKA Moscow earning him the most points of the three (13).
