TaglIafico confident of ending up at Barca: "It'll be easier in June"

Nicolas Tagliafico forms part of the extensive list of footballers who have been linked with Xavi's Barcelona. He would be a great reinforcement at left-back to provide the coach with an alternative to Jordi Alba and he himself seems inclined to joining Barca. In fact, he told 'TNT Sports' that he hopes there is an agreement with the club in June. 

"I have a contract here until June 2023. I have a year and a bit left on my contract. There was interest, both clubs spoke, but they did not reach an agreement. It was slightly complicatede for Barca at this time, but I think that now, in June, it's going to be easier," the footballer began. 

In the moments in which more information was published on his possible move to the Camp Nou, he did not hide his feelings and even pressed for it to happen: "I didn't say it in the heat of the moment, but I expressed what I felt, you shouldn't keep it quiet. But anyway, that's in the past and now you have to think about what we're going through."

In any case, Tagliafico will be at Ajax for at least the rest of this season. His market value is 18 million euros although Barca could try and get him for less given that Tagliafico will be out of contract in summer 2023.
