Tadic continues amazing 2019 with penalty against Portugal

Dusan Tadic's 2019 just got even better in the qualifier against Portugal in Lisbon. He needed just seven minutes to leave his mark.

He scored from the penalty spot after his teammate, Mijat Gacinovic, got on the end of a long pass and was brought down by Rui Patricio. It was a clear penalty and having missed his previous two penalties for his country, Dusan Tadic this time made no mistake from 12 yards.

This goal was his 11th in just 14 matches since the turn of the year. His opposite number, Cristiano Ronaldo, was forced off injured after just half an hour. After just 45 minutes of play, Tadic had already come out on top in his duel with Ronaldo.
