Hungary were surprisingly leading at half-time against France who were very strong favourites. The French let them off the hook and Fiola made it 1-0 in one of the last attacks of the half.
There was lots of added time to the first half because Hungary had to replace Szalai in the latest concerning injury at the Euros.
It seemed like the veteran striker had suffered a heat stroke, but Hungary quickly announced that the sub had been made as a result of a blow to the head.
"Adam Szalai received a blow to the head which made him dizzy so Marco Rossi decided to replace him. More details are expected after the customary medical tests," the statement read. They also ruled out any serious injury.
