Relegation has finally arrived for Swansea City, and it's time to start making some changes. A move from the Premier League to the Championship means reduced TV revenue, it means big players leaving, and it means sorting the wheat from the chaff.
With their eyes set on restoring the free-flowing football of the Swansea sides of five years ago, they have begun the chase for a young, exciting prospect from Liverpool's academy.
The man in question is called Yan Dhanda. He is 19 years old, he plays in midfield, and he was bought from West Brom for £500,000 at the age of 14.
The young midfielder is out of contract in summer, however, and with offers on the table from Leeds United and Bristol City, as well as Swansea, he is weighing up his options.
According to the 'Daily Mail', Dhanda is set to sign for Swansea on Friday, for a fee in the region of £100,000, in a deal that will include a 20% sell-on clause.
