Suso willing to take a pay cut to stay at Sevilla

The summer will be a long one in the Andalusian capital, which means that there could be more than one twist in the script. The market is often unpredictable and everything will depend on the offers that come in.

Despite this, Sevilla's roadmap is clear as they plan to regenerate their squad and lower the wage bill. In this situation there are players who are likely to be sold, as long as there is no renewal. 

This is the case of Suso. The Cadiz-born player has one year left on his contract and was very likely to leave the La Liga outfit but, according to 'El Desmarque', his future could remain tied to his current team.

Suso is willing to make a financial effort to stay at Sevilla. The footballer puts his personal and family wellbeing before starting from scratch in another city where he would earn more money. 

He would not be short of offers, especially from Saudi Arabia, who have already tried to sign him in the two previous windows. On both occasions, the player rejected the offer as he felt indebted to Sevilla and did not want to leave the team due to the poor sporting situation.
