Sunderland winger Lens joins Besiktas

Lens joined the Black Cats from Dynamo Kiev in 2015 in a deal worth £11m but the Netherlands international has now ended his stay at the Stadium of Light.

The 29-year-old failed to hold down a place in the starting XI in his first Premier League campaign and was then loaned out to Fenerbahce for the 2016/17 season.

Lens will join up with a number of high profile signings made by Besiktas this summer, including Alvaro Negredo, Pepe and Gokhan Tore.
