Suarez marked his 100th appearance with a goal

Suarez endured a frustrating first game of the tournament against Egypt, but took just 23 minutes to get off the mark in this one.

As a corner from the right came in, goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais came racing off his line to challenge Diego Godin in the air, only for neither player to get anywhere near the ball.

Like any good striker, Suarez made sure to position himself in the perfect spot to be able to take advantage, sweeping home first time at the far post with his left foot.

The goal was Suarez's 52nd for his country and he will be lucky to be presented with an easier chance during what remains of the tournament.
