Harry Kane wasn't the only player to find two first-half goals against Panama on Sunday. In fact, John Stones accomplished the feat first, scoring in minutes 8 and 40.
Stones was the man to open the floodgates for England, scoring the first goal of his international career and the first goal of the game in the early stages. The defender made it 1-0 from a corner, finding himself unmarked and heading in a bullet past Penedo, from a Kieran Trippier delivery.

Then after Kane and Jesse Lingard made it two then three, Stones found the net again with half-time approaching. This time it was a free-kick, clipped in by Jordan Henderson after the Liverpool midfielder was layed off by Trippier. The ball was headed first by Kane at the back post, then Raheem Sterling, with the goalkeeper saving both times.
Penedo couldn't save a third attempt though, and Stones nutted it in from three yards out to make it 4-0.
