Mikel Oyarzabal celebrated his first hat trick as a professional, in the Spanish national team's 5-0 thrashing of Andorra at the Nuevo Vivero, regaining his international goalscoring form at an important moment just days before the European Championship in Germany.
"It's my first hat trick as a professional. I'm happy for everything, for the goals and the sensations of the match. All the people leave happy. The goals are a question of luck and being in the right place," he said in the mixed zone of the Nuevo Vivero.
"What happens in training, the feelings of the week, can be seen in the matches and they are good. The team is good, people are eager and excited to be able to do something good", he added.
On a personal level, Oyarzabal is ready to play on the left or as a centre forward depending on what Luis de la Fuente asks of him.
"In the end it's about being ready for whatever the coach asks for in each game. The game before last I played on the wing, against Brazil up front and now again as a nine. I'm ready for whatever the coach decides for each game, to give my all and help", he admitted.
