'Sky Sports': City make final offer for Mahrez

Reports emerged earlier on Wednesday claiming that Leicester had rejected Pep Guardiola's second offer for Mahrez after their initial £50m bid was turned down on Tuesday. 

However, it appears that the Manchester club have made a final offer to the 'Foxes' which, if rumours in the English media outlet are correct, is worth £65m in total and includes a player, although this player's identity is currently unknown.

Guardiola refused to rule out a move for the 26-year-old in his pre-match conference on Tuesday and if City can confirm the transfer of Mahrez before the 11pm deadline, it would certainly be the biggest surprise of the January window.
