Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has finally got back Stefan Savic, who was out for a month, and Alvaro Morata, who missed the last game against Espanyol. The pair will presumibly be available for the side's home tie to Real Sociedad, while Jan Oblak, Memphis Depay, Marcos Llorente, Thomas Lemar and Reinildo Mandava are still out.
The manager confirmed in the pre-training session press conference that the two were back, saying "They're good. They've both recovered, other than getting them back to full fitness, we'll be looking for the best game we can this Sunday", as he does still have five absentees to take into account.
Jan Oblak will be missing his 7th game in a row, Marcos Llorente with his 8th after he suffered an injury and a yellow card ban. As for Memphis Depay, he'll be out for the fifth game straight due to a muscle injury, while it'll be Lemar's third out. The one who has been out for the longest it Reinildo Mandava, who has not played since the 25th February, missing 14 games in a row.
However, Savic and Morata were back with the side training ahead of Sociedad's visit, and they give Simeone another option going into the penultimate game of the La Liga season.
