Sidibé, Barcelona's alternative if Mazraoui does not come to Barcelona

Barcelona are set to sign a right-back next summer, preferably at zero cost. Noussair Mazraoui seems to be the chosen one, but the deal might not come to fruition. In that case, the alternative seems to be Monaco's Djibril Sidibé.

Sidibé, like Mazraoui, finishes his contract in June, so in a week's time he will be able to negotiate with whoever wants him at zero cost for the next summer transfer window. Barcelona have him on their list of possible signings, as an alternative to the Moroccan.

Barcelona's objective is to sign him at zero cost in the summer. Specifically, to sign a right-back. And although the priority seems to be Noussair Mazraoui, as there is more and more competition for him, Barcelona are considering alternatives.

One of them, according to Sport, is Monaco's Djibril Sidibé, a player who, like Mazraoui, will be free in a few months. The difference between the two is mainly their age, as Sidibé is 29, compared to Mazraoui's 24.
