Sevilla to battle Betis for Álex Moreno

Álex Moreno has been one of Rayo's standout players this season, and despite not being able to help keep the Madrid-based outfit up, his stock has done nothing but rise this campaign.

His stellar performances have caught the eye of Spain's top teams, with Betis being one of the clubs most interested in the 25 year-old. However, they may now face competition from their biggest rival.

As 'Marca' have suggested, Sevilla are also closely following the left-back, whose release clause currently sits at 18 million euros.

The Sevillan clubs are at the front of the queue for the Spaniard, although Barcelona are also thought to be interested as they look to provide cover and competition for an ageing Jordi Alba.
