Sevilla are looking to bolster their squad this transfer window and are already looking for a new centre-back to strengthen their defence. In the case of not getting Eric Bailly on loan and after the more than possible departure of Nemanja Gudelj, the Andalusian side have turned their attention to a free agent.
This is none other than Dan-Axel Zagadou, a former Borussia Dortmund defender. At 23 years of age, the player has experience in the Bundesliga, despite not having been a regular in the plans of his previous coaches. He joined the club in 2017.
Trained in the youth ranks at PSG, the defender has left the Signal Iduna Park outfit scoring four goals and providing one assist in five seasons. Sevilla are now considering his possible arrival and assessing the pros and cons of his signing.
He would be a luxury partner for new arrival Marcao, who arrived at the Sanchez-Pizjuan from Fenerbahçe. Only the signing bonus would have to be paid, as the transfer price would be free.
