Sevilla and Stade Rennais have reached an agreement in order to sign Loic Bade, who was playing for Nottingham Forest. The 22-year old defender will be Sevilla's first signing of the January transfer window.

Sevilla announced on Saturday their first signing of the January transfer window. Loic Bade is the Spanish club's choice.

Bade made his professional debut as a footballer three years ago in Ligue 2 and was signed by Lens for the 2020/21 campaign.

Finally, the defender signed for Stade Rennais and has played 22 competitive matches for the French team. His current team also loaned him to the Premier League side Nottingham Forest after the first game of this season.

The Spanish club have signed Bade on loan with an option to buy. However, they still have to process some of the player's documentation and both parties have reached a first agreement before this move can be confirmed.
