Sevilla offer 10 million for Ben Brereton Diaz

Ben Brereton, just 23 years old, has become one of the stars of the Championship. Last season, he broke goalscoring records with 22 goals in 39 matches. Now, he is on the radar's of Sevilla, Valencia and Betis. 'The Sun', in fact, reports that Sevilla are on the offensive to get him. 

Sporting director Monchi wants to complete the deal for around 10 million pounds, but Blackburn want 20 million. However, the player's contract expires in the summer so it would make sense for Blackburn to accept a lower price so that they do not lose him for nothing at the end of the 2022-23 season. 

That is what Sevilla want to use to their advantage to get hold of the footballer, who has never played in Spain. This could also be key to persuading him as he has spent all his career in England. Despite not speaking much Spanish, he is having classes so he can integrate with the Chilean national team. 

In addition, it is worth bearing in mind that this signing would not only give him the opportunity to make his debut in Spanish football, but also to move from a team in the second tier to one in the top flight. Sevilla's project is looking for top players and that is why Brereton would be perfect for Lopetegui's side.
