Monchi is slowly working on another signing. He has still not decided whether he will go out and buy him, but the Sevilla sporting director has got the player on his list just in case. The footballer is Hysaj, an Albanian who plays for Napoli and is not playing regularly this campaign. His contract runs until 2021.
'Estadio Deportivo' reports that Sevilla have got their eyes on him. Their sporting director's experience in Italy means he knows a lot about the footballer. Hysaj had been a nailed on starter at Napoli for several seasons, but that is not the case this term.
Figures back that up. Last season, he played 35 matches and started 30 of them. This year, even though there are still some games to play, he has made just 15 appearances and started only 12. This could reduce the value of the full back and make him move to La Liga for the first time in his career.
If the Andalusians want to go out and sign him this summer, they will have to put about 13.8 million euros on the table, his market value. That said, knowing Monchi, who is on the verge of a getting Maxime Lopez for a low price, Sevilla may not need to pay 13.8 million to get the Albanian.
