Sevilla have targeted Marcao for the back line

Marcao has no shortage of suitors. A few days ago the Galatasaray centre-back was linked with Villarreal, but now Sevilla are the club where the 25-year-old is being linked with next season. 

This is according to Fabrizio Romano, Italian journalist and market specialist, who reports on the possible options being considered by Sevilla to replace Diego Carlos. 

Marcao is one of the great candidates to land at the Sanchez-Pizjuan given his experience in professional football. The Brazilian has already spent four seasons with Galatasaray, with whom he has played 141 official matches and has a contract until mid-2024. 

With a powerful physique, the 1.85m tall left-sided centre-back is valued at around 14 million euros, but according to 'Estadio Deportivo', Sevilla are confident they can negotiate that figure down a little.
