After a good year at Sporting CP, Pablo Sarabia will have to return to PSG to begin pre-season training with the French club. However, it is still unknown whether or not the Spaniard will stay in Paris next season.
Thanks to his performances at Sporting, and recently with the Spain national team, the forward is on the radar of a number of big clubs this summer. But, in recent hours, one of said clubs have openly rejected the possibility of bringing his services into their squad.
According to 'Marca', the Sevilla board are not considering a Sarabia return to the club ahead of next season. The Andalusian outfit are searching for a winger, but the ex number 17 is not an option for them.
There are two main reasons why the Sevilla board feel this way about the player. Firstly, they are not prepared to pay the inflated salary the 30 year old has been receiving at PSG. And secondly, there are already two left footed wingers in the Sevilla squad and therefore, Sarabia would be surplus to requirements.
The most likely situation for the Spaniard would be continuing his career at Sporting, to whom he has already given his word. On their part, the PSG board will attempt to sell their player rather than sending him out on loan once again.
