Sevilla consider selling Kounde and Diego Carlos

Jules Kounde and Diego Carlos could be on the edge of leaving Sevilla. The board are considering listening to offers for both players in order to get a financial injection for the club. They are among the most reliable defenders in La Liga.  

Sevilla's objective is still to get into the Champions League. Thanks to their 2-3 win over Levante, they are in a more comfortable position to qualify for the competition by taking all three points: they are third and have 63 points, two more than Atlético de Madrid.

Diego Carlos, the 29-year-old centre-back, has already found a buyer in the winter transfer window, Newcastle. According to 'AS', the English side will try again to take the player in the next transfer window. His contract with the Spaniards expires in 2024. 

Meanwhile, Koundé, who is also under contract until 2024, could leave Sevilla to join Chelsea. The English club already offered the club 50 million euros for the player in last summer's transfer window.
