The 26-year-old midfielder has attracted interest from a host of clubs in recent times, with Chelsea, Napoli and Sevilla among those linked with a move.
The playmaker is believed to have a £35m release clause in his contract at Nice and is reportedly eyeing a move to the Premier League.
However, that clause is only active until July 15th, meaning that teams will have to move quickly if they are to secure the player's services.
With new boss Patrick Vieira keen to avoid any distactions, the player has been left behind as 'Les Aiglons' head off to step up their preparation for the new season.
The problem with that is that many clubs' interest relies on other players moving out, with Sevilla waiting to discover if Steven N'Zonzi will join Arsenal before committing to a move.
Seri has made over 120 appearances for Vieira's side, scoring 11 goals and is a full Ivory Coast international.
