Sanchez has been named in the 39-man squad alongside Jack Wilshere and a host of youngsters who are expected to be given a chance in the competition.
One inclusion that has shocked the Arsenal faithful is Mathieu Debuchy, remember him? The Frenchman makes the cut despite only registering 16 minutes of first team football for the Gunners last season.
Sanchez is currently on international duty with Chile and reportedly picked up an ankle knock over the weekend.
However, those fears have now been allayed after the 28-year-old trained with his national side on Monday ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Bolivia.
