Sampaoli asks for Nico: Barça to decide after pre-season

In case Barça finally decide to loan the midfielder, Olympique Marseille have already asked for him, according to 'Sport'. He has wanted to communicate to the 'Cule' club that he would have a place in their ranks.

Jorge Sampaoli, OM's coach, would be interested in having the midfielder and would have made this known to the French club's board of directors. The Argentinean wants to know if he would have the possibility of having him in his team.

Barça are aware of Olympique de Marseille's interest in the player, but for the moment they are keeping quiet about his future. The plan, according to the Catalan newspaper, is for him to spend the pre-season with the first team. Once finished, Xavi will decide if he has place in his team for the 22-23 or if he opens the doors for him to continue playing away from the Camp Nou.
