RUMOURS: PSG move for Liverpool target

Liverpool could lose out on River Plate striker Lucas Alario after PSG stepped up their interest with a first offer, according to RMC .

The 24-year-old has attracted a lot of attention for his performances in South America but PSG are the first team to make a move with a reported opening bid of £9 million.

Jurgen Klopp has insisted that Daniel Sturridge is not for sale but, with his appearances limited at Anfield, speculation of a January exit continues, which would leave the Reds in need of new attacking options.

River Plate are claimed to be holding out for at least £15 million for Alario.
