Ronaldo set to earn over half a million euros per DAY with new Al Nassr contract

In the absence of official confirmation, information is already beginning to leak out about Cristiano Ronaldo's renewal, which seems to be closer than ever. Although there were rumours of a possible departure to Al Hilal, Al Nassr will keep the No 7 in the squad as the main head of the project. The Portuguese will remain the highest paid player in the world for a longer period of time.

The Saudi media ‘Al Khabar’ claims that the former Real Madrid star will be paid more than 200 million euros per season in a new deal that will extend his relationship with Al Nassr until at least 2026. In other words, the Portuguese will finish his next contract at the age of 42. If we extrapolate that 200 million, we are talking about four million euros a week and just over half a million euros a day.

The club sees in Cristiano, beyond his performance, a way to establish the project and give weight to a brand that is increasingly recognised around the world thanks to the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, who arrived in Saudi Arabia in 2023 after an unsuccessful second spell at Manchester United.

Since then, he has already made 90 appearances for Al Nassr in three different seasons. The Portuguese has scored on 81 occasions and assisted a further 18. However, he is still struggling on the collective front. He was only able to win the Arab Club Championship, but he has lost two finals to Al Hilal: one in the Cup and one in the Super Cup.

In the league, Al Nassr have yet to catch up with Al Ittihad and Al Hilal, the two clubs who have also gained the edge this season and both lead with 37 points, nine points clear of Ronaldo's Al Nassr.
