Ronaldo fires Al Nassr into Arab Club Champions Cup final

Cristiano Ronaldo continues to be crucial to the teams he plays for. In this case, the Portuguese forward led Al Nassr to the Arab Club Champions Cup final. The former Manchester United player scored the winner for his side against Al Shorta in the semi-finals of the Arab Club Champions Cup.

Luis Castro's team played a fairly even game and neither team managed to break the deadlock despite the chances they created. In the 74th minute, Mane received a ball inside the box and was brought down, for which the referee awarded a penalty.

The Portuguese, who is known to be lethal from 12 yards, sent the Al Shorta keeper the wrong way to score the winner for Al Nassr, who will face the winner of the match to be played between Al-Hilal and Al-Shabab.

It should be recalled that the former Real Madrid player was already crucial in leading the Saudi side to the quarter-finals when he headed home an 87th-minute equaliser against Zamalek in the round of 16. In addition, Ronaldo also scored the opening goal in Al Nassr's 3-1 quarter-final win over Raja Casablanca.
