Ronald Koeman is thinking about Diego Maradona. The footballing world was shocked by the death of the Argentinian legend and the Barca coach spoke about him prior to the La Liga match with Osasuna. He talked about the match he played in when Maradona is in the opposition.
"I played once against him versus Sevilla. I remember that he arrived late for the warm up once and I was almost focussing more on him than on my own warm up. I'd had the fortune to play against him. That's how you can better see the quality he has. It's a shame he's gone at just 60 years old and I wish the best for his family," the Barca coach said.
"The best tribute we could pay to Maradona is to show our quality on the field," he added. The Dutchman also said those most affected by his death are Argentinians even though everyone in football has ben affected by it.
