Romeu spotted in Barcelona for club medical

The signing of Oriol Romeu will be announced officially very soon by Barcelona. 'Jijantes' have caputred footage on a livestream of the Girona player, although he has stopped training with them, as he was at 'cule' facilities to undergo his medical test for his new club.

The Camp Nou management are ramping up their plans for the coming season because the squad are going on their pre-season tour on Wednesday and the idea is to be able to count on the entire squad.

Many clubs have had the same plan such as Arsenal, who closed the deals for two new signings, Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber, ahead of their own pre-season tour. Manchester United, similarly are aiming to finalise the transfer of Andre Onana in order for him to travel to America.

Returning to Europe, the former Southampton man will leave his club for a fee of around €5 million. It has also come to light that Pablo Torre, pearl who joined the Catalan ranks from Racing Santander, will join Girona on loan, after not finding his place just yet in Xavi Hernandez's squad.

While Barcelona close this deal, another has been unveiled in Miami, where Leo Messi and Sergio Busquets have already been presented. Busi's departure was the cause of Oriol Romeu's arrival. Joan Laporta and his team had to find a replacement for the pivot position and the Girona player appeared as the best option, as he is low cost and has a lot of experience in the Premier League. He was also trained in Barca's academy, La Masia.
