Alexsandar Kolarov has begun his third season at Roma. The veteran 33 year-old Serbian defender has made a total of 92 appearances for the club and has scored 14 goals.
However, this summer, there was talk of Kolarov moving elsewhere, but staying in Serie A.
The defender was linked with the likes of Inter Milan and Juve while at the beginning of the year, there was speculation over him joining Simeone's Atletico Madrid.
'La Gazzetta dello Sport' this Wednesday reports that Roma are more than satisfied with the defender, who has already played two full competitive games this term. As a result, he has been offered a contract renewal until 2021 with the option of another one.
