Roma after Elche player

Gonzalo Villar could be the next big Roma signing. A surprising rumour that was made known on Monday 13th January and that links the young Elche CM with Serie A.

After 37 official matches and a couple of goals in the 2 seasons he has played with Elche, the 21-year-old would leave Spain behind to start a new adventure abroad.

'AS' assure that the Italian outfit's board are very interested in the young CM in order to make him a key player for the future.

According to the aforementioned source, it would appear that the Italians have already made the Spanish side a 3 million euro offer, with the aim of making Villar the new centrepiece of the Roma midfield.
