Rodgers shows Adrien Silva and Slimani the exit door

'The Telegraph' is reporting that Adrien Silva and Islam Slimani now know that Brendan Rodgers does not need them and that the best solution is for them to look for a departure. 

The coach wanted to tell them personally of his decision, highlighting his intention for them to leave this summer. 

Slimani, 29, was the most expensive signing in the English side's history - close to 31 million euros - but has hardly got regular game time and his future lies away from Leicester. 

Adrien Silva has played just 21 matches in his two seasons in the Premier League and now dreams about returning to Sporting Lisbon. He was considered a star there.
