Roberts doesn't fear Atletico

"They are a great team, but we are prepared, training very hard. We want to get the three points to put on a good show for the fans," said young English forward Patrick Roberts, in a message broadcast by the club itself.

The player, who is facing his first experience in Spanish football on loan from Manchester City, added that he is "very comfortable in Girona".

"The weather is excellent, the football is fantastic. They have welcomed me very well, from the coaches to the players, including the physios. They've helped me a lot," celebrated a Roberts who, in the last three games, has taken advantage of Portu's injury to get the starting line-up.

In this sense, the 21-year-old, who had only played 99 minutes in the first ten league matches, admitted that he is "happy to play" and that he hopes to "have continuity".

"Like every player, I always want to play. It's about taking advantage of opportunities," emphasized Roberts, convinced that he can still "contribute more," before remarking that Girona are "enjoying football" under Eusebio Sacristán.
