Robben and Rafinha sign new Bayern deals

Robben's future at the club had been in doubt due to his advancing age, but the 34-year-old has signed a contract extension that will see him stay at the club for another year.

The Dutchman has won all there is to win at Bayern during his stay, including seven Bundesliga titles, four DFB Cups and a Champions League. He has made 209 competitive appearances for Bayern, scoring 138 goals.

Rafinha, who is two years younger than Robben, will also remain at the club for another year. 

"We're delighted that we've extended for another year with these two players - they've earned it," said Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic.

"Arjen Robben and Rafinha have an important role to play in our plans for next season."
